Pigskin Picks

This weeks version of Pigskin Picks features the visit of the Wisconsin Badgers to Columbus, the Cleveland Browns returning to the place of their last victory and the Seattle Seahawks returning Matt Hasselbeck to the lineup in what is a must win game.

Ohio State hosts Wisconsin in a game that allows the winner to keep the share of the Big Ten lead as well allowing one resident of the world headquarters to have bragging rights for the season.
The undefeated Badgers feature one of the nations top backs in John Clay.
I have really liked what I have seen from Clay and if he was not at the school that boasts the all time rusher in college football history (Ron Dayne),he would send records falling all over Wisconsin.
But Wisconsin's opponents have not been to the level of the Buckeyes and only their win over Michigan State has been a dominant win.
Wisconsin is the only Big Ten school that Jim Tressel does not have a winning record against (3-3) and this is always a close, hard nosed game that screams Big Ten Football.
Going to be a close one in Columbus.

The Cleveland Browns travel to Buffalo where the Browns won their last football game and might be their last real chance to win for a while.
The Browns gave me a bit of hope with last weeks effort and if this game was in Cleveland,I might feel really good about this one.
Buffalo was waxed by Miami last week and the question is this-are the Bills mad as a hornet or demoralized and ripe for another loss.
Teams have been able to move the ball against the Bills, but this one comes down to this-is Trent Edwards good enough to take advantage of the matchup that favors Buffalo the most-Terrell Owens and Lee Evans vs Eric Wright and Mike Adams/Brandon McDonald.
If he is,look out,if not Cleveland can win this.
Buffalo has problems against the run,so Jerome Harrison needs another big day to keep Buffalo off the field.
Cleveland needs this one, because it gets worse after this one....

Seattle host Jacksonville in a must win game that they need to keep playoff hopes alive.
Matt Hasselbeck returns and that is great as I am sick of watching Seneca Wallace.
Jacksonville smashed Tennessee last week and took out Houston the week before that.
Maurice Jones-Drew is the teams star and the Jaguars have gotten a lot of use of the years breakout unknown Mike Sims-Walker on the outside.
Jacksonville's passing game has improved this season, but the key is still stopping Drew on the ground.
Seattle can hopefully get back to using the passing game with Hasselbeck back for as long as he lasts anyway.
Another close one,but the loud crowd and a long trip from Jacksonville may play a role in the game...

Our picks-
Ohio State 21-17
Browns 20-17
Seahawks 24-23

First time all year that we have picked all three teams to win in the same week....
