Daniel,Marrero and Maxwell called up to Potomac!
The entire Hagerstown Suns outfield of Mike Daniel,Chris Marrero and Justin Maxwell were moved to High A Potomac effective after tonight's game vs Lakewood.
The Suns won the game 7-6 as Cory Van Allen pitched 7 innings and got his first victory of the season.
The news was out as I talked to Marrero and Daniel about it before the game.
I think the announcement was delayed for the game because the Nationals had loads of front office guys at the game.
GM Jim Bowden,Asst.GM Bob Boone, player personnel head Bobby Williams and owner Stan Kasten were all at the game tonight.
Marrero hit the games only homer in the 3rd inning,Chris's 14 th and final homer as a Sun.
I have to go to work, but more on this tomorrow.
