The boxing challenge has another small weekend before a large one next Saturday.
The biggest fight comes from Germany as the World Boxing Super Series continues with a quarter-final matchup in the super middleweight tournament as England's Chris Eubank Jr (TRS #4) faces Turkey's Avni Yildrim.
Most people rate Chris Eubank Jr. far higher than I, but for a fighter so highly thought of, Eubank has fought just three world class fighters in his career with a late knockout of Fedor Chudinov with a decision win in his last bout of the faded Arthur Abraham coming after Eubank's split decision loss to Billy Joe Saunders.
Yildrim is untested against anyone of Eubank's level with just one win over a top 20 level fighter, his decision win in his last fight against Marco Antonio Periban.
I'm undecided on what I think of Yildrim, but I think Eubank is quite overrated and watch out for the German judging.
The winner will meet the winner of next Saturday's George Groves-Jamie Cox bout in the semi-finals.
You can see Eubank-Yildrim on tape delay on the Audience network Saturday night.
The other bout is from England as two former lightweight champions battle with Anthony Crolla facing Ricky Burns.
Often times terms like "do or die" are tossed around lightly, but in this case, it's true as Crolla is coming off his two losses to Jorge Linares and Burns looked really bad in his last fight-a loss to Julius Indongo.
The winner might be in position for a title fight and the loser takes a huge hit for future marketability.
Crolla is the more exciting fighter of the two, while Burns has never been confused with Ray Mancini for action fights, but is the far smoother boxer...
I lead Ramon Malpica in the boxing challenge 135-123
