A quick note as the Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that GM George Kokinis was escorted from the Browns headquarters in Berea earlier today and was relieved of his duties after a short reign as the Cleveland General Manager.
Some fast thoughts on this before the Saints (and Atlanta's Roddy White) attempt to salvage my fantasy football game.
If this is true,then Randy Lerner's comments on naming someone to run football operations must not have been just talk.
This is a serious move,now let's see who the replacement is....
I would like to say that this will turn things around,but Kokinis was a figurehead from day one.
Eric Mangini was always the director of this production.
Eric Mangini is reported to have signed off on tossing "Gilligan" under the bus in order to save his job.
With friends like Mangini,who needs enemies???
Finally,how did security even find Kokinis?
No one has seen or heard from him since the draft,so he had to have been hard to find!!!
