Pigskin Picking Machine

The PPM makes its 2012 debut with some lopsided picks from the college gridiron along with the game of the week.

Ohio State and Urban Meyer begin the road to michigan with a home game against MAC opponent Miami of Ohio.
The Redhawks were 4-8 last season and look to be somewhat improved, but not to the point of threatening the Buckeyes.

Texas Tech host Northwestern State in what looks to be a bloodletting opener for Seth Doege and the Red Raiders.
The red Raider spread against a 1-AA team, this looks to have the ability to get ugly....

Bowling Green figures to be on the other end of a pounding as the Falcons travel to Gainesville and the waiting Florida Gators.
The Falcons are expected to make a run at the MAC East title after a 5-7 2011,but it might be beyond their hopes to pull off this type of upset...

The game of the week has to be Saturday's only battle of ranked teams as number two Alabama and some team wearing yellow and blue ranked eighth face off on the neutral site of Arlington,Texas.
Alabama lost talent, but Nick Saban has plenty of returning talent and I think michigan will be the overrated team that could be looked at in December as why in the world they were ranked in the top ten.

PPM
Ohio State 45 Miami Ohio 13
Texas Tech 55 Northwestern State 16
Florida 34 Bowling Green 15
Alabama 33 michigan 14
