Pirates slip in BrewTown,Suns KO Captains and .....

Quick Post tonight.

The Pirates lost on getaway day in Milwaukee to the Brewers 7-5.
Another bad outing for Zach Duke, who fell to 1-2 on the season.
Duke allowed 7 runs and 11 hits in just 4 innings of work.
Xavier Nady homered (his 3rd) and finished with 3 RBI,the other 2 went to Humberto Cota and Jose Bautista.
Sorry,No TV for the game,so I can only go from the reports.

The Hagerstown Suns defeated the Lake County Captains 9-5 in a game that wasnt as close as the score indicates.
The Suns Jhonny Nunez threw 5 scoreless innings and despite 3 walks, looked very strong.
Mike Daniel slammed his 5th Homer and Justin Maxwell hit his 3rd of the year.
I would wager Daniel will move to Potomac at the first opportunity.
Cleveland 2nd rounder Steven Wright started for Lake County and was routed for 8 runs and 8 hits in just 2 and two-third innings.

The game was also notable for the appearance of former Major Leaguers Bob Boone and
Tim Foli. Both are currently working in the Nationals front office.
Boone was best known for his catching for the Phillies and Angels among others.
Foli played for many teams, most notably for the 1979 World Champion Pirates.
I managed to get cards signed by both men.
Thanks to Jeff Heimberger for his help with Tim Foli and to Michael Rice for his help with Bob Boone.
