Henrique evens things out in Devils win....

A short recap of Tuesday's 3-2 Devils win over Carolina since I ran out of time yesterday to get this finished.
Adam Henrique had his stick in the wrong place at the wrong time in the third period as Henrique deflected Joni Pitkanen's shot into the Devils net for a 2-2 tie.
Ten minutes later Henrique redeemed himself as he went behind the net and wrapped the puck around Cam Ward for the game winner (4).
New Jersey also received goals from Dainius Zubrus (4) and Petr Sykora (2) in the win, which was the Devils third in a row.
New Jersey plays Washington tomorrow and Saturday in a home and home series....

Hell Raisers

1) Four goals in three games with two of them being game winners for Adam Henrique, which means I doubt that we see Henrique in Albany anytime soon,if ever again.
Henrique seems to have a quiet poise that belies his age and plays very confidently.

2) Disappointed in the penalty killers as they handed the Hurricanes their first goal shorthanded.
Patrik Elias slipped on the play, which allowed Brandon Sutter to score on a 2 for 1,but you still expect more than one player to get back...

3) Martin Brodeur looked good and with two nice games in a row,is hopefully rounding back into shape.
Brodeur almost singlehandedly kept the Devils in the game, especially in the late first and early second periods.
Brodeur made some excellent saves in those spots and kept Carolina from changing the complexion of the game...

4) Two goals for the Zubrus/Elias/Sykora line in this win.
Patrik Elias has adjusted reasonably well in the move to center and thus far, this season would get my vote for Devils MVP....

5) Andy Greene returned to the lineup after missing two games, but Ilya Kovalchuk remained out of the lineup.
Mark Fraser was placed on waivers to allow Greene to return.
Fraser will likely be assigned to Albany,if he clears waivers....
