Power beats Suns 10-5,

This will be a short post,as work calls.
The West Virginia Power defeated the Hagerstown Suns tonight 10-5.
West Virginia divided its 9 RBI (1 scored on a wild pitch) among 7 players.
Nothing really exciting tonight except another Homer for Hagerstown's Chris Marrero.
Honestly,the game kinda dragged.
West Virginia continues its white hot start with its 3rd win in the 4 game series.
The two teams matchup again here next Tuesday through Friday.

Notes

Justin Maxwell of the Suns missed the game after his collision in right field yesterday.
Maxwell received stitches in his thigh for his efforts.

The Hagerstown Suns had a towel for each West Virginia Power player today.
Good Work, only took 4 days too........

The Suns also do not give comp drinks to the visiting players in the stands..
I was told in conversation that every other park that the Power had been to gave comp drinks.
I can understand not giving free food, but a Coke or even a water??
Penny wise and dollar foolishness continues.
The old saying holds true-you only get one chance to make a favorable 1st impression.
The Hagerstown Suns continue again and again to fumble that ball.

West Virginia has a real fireballer in Omar Aguilar.
He throws a lot of gas, although he needs to work on his control.

Another wonderful "thirsty thursday".
Obnoxious drunks and of course the drone of "Hum Baby" guy.
If you have attended a Suns game on the same night as this guy-you know his act quite well.

Pittsburgh placed Wayback Wasdin on the disabled list today.
I would have preferred the unemployed list, but anything is better than on the mound.

As of this writing-the Pirates lead Milwaukee 4-2 in the 8th inning.
I will be back tomorrow with more on the game and likely a preview and prediction for the Oscar De La Hoya vs Floyd Mayweather fight as well.

good one Jeff but you need to register so the peeps know who you are. Marrero's high school uniform look way too much like the Phillies.
Pittsburgh recalled Marty McCleary from Indianapolis to replace Wasdin.
