Cavaliers clip Pelicans 118-111

LeBron James posted his first triple-double in his return to Cleveland as the Cavaliers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 118-111 at the Q in Cleveland.
James led the Cavaliers with 32 points,12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Kyrie Irving added 32 points in support for the now 3-3 Cavaliers.
Cleveland will be off until Friday against the Boston Celtics.

Swashbucklings

1) Play of the game-LeBron James straight down the lane, split two Pelicans and slammed the ball home.
Routine for LeBron James, but still worth shaking your head over...

2) On a day when the first rumors began to trickle out about Kevin Love and his future (and it only took six games),Love showed his three point range with six of nine shooting on the home run ball.
Love still isn't in total sync yet,but last night I thought he looked smoother...

3) I'll answer the Kevin Love question now and hopefully not again for a while.
I want a title and it's tough to say a title and gone would be a failure, but if Kevin Love leaves after a year, title or not-the loss of Andrew Wiggins is going to be hard to take...

4) As good as LeBron was and as good as Anthony Davis was for New Orleans, the player of the night was Ryan Anderson.
Anderson a 6'10 forward, finished with 32 points with eight three pointers.
In the first half as soon as the ball rolled off the hands of Anderson,it looked to go in.
Anderson was that hot shooting the ball...

5) Another brick fell as David Blatt began to use the bench more as Joe Harris saw 20 minutes of action, scoring five points with a three pointer.
Harris also hit a driving layup just before the halftime buzzer off a nice pass by LeBron James.
Harris was used more as Dion Waiters missed the game with back soreness..

6) Dion Waiters missed the game as noted, but the player that pushed him in Denver,Darrell Arthur was suspended for one game as well.
I'd like to see the rule on flagrant fouls be this-if the player is fouled misses time, the fouler misses the same amount of time...
