A few notes for today.

Dejan at the Post-Gazette had a great article yesterday comparing the Pirates spending to the Brewers.
I do not need to analyze it,because it is ALL dead on.

Lake County finishes their series against the Hagerstown Suns tonight at 6;35.
Just a game night tonight,except for a few Suns bullpenners that I have not gotten yet.

Liberal Favorite Al Franken is running for Senate in Minnesota.
I think it is going to be a tough run for Al,but I am rooting for him big-time.
I bet that race ,vs incumbent GOP Senator Norm Coleman, will be fun to cover!

New Jersey Devils battle Tampa at home tonight at 7;00,The winner will lead the series 3 games to 2.

Quick note on the moronic SAL schedule.
After tonight's game vs Lake County,the Suns will host no one here except for Delmarva and West Virginia for the next 45 DAYS!!!!!!

Nice note on the Suns-
Found out our favorite Suns Employee's name is Cindy.
Will try to get a pic sometime,so if you need something at a game,you can ask Cindy.
Might be the only way you get any assistance.

Bad note on the Suns-
This did not affect me in the the slightest,but after putting "McDreamy day" on the front marquee and advertising it on the Hagerstown Suns Website,"McDreamy day" was without a word,apparently cancelled.
I didnt even think about it until just now,when I saw the picture still up on their site.
Only this management bunch would advertise a contest and not hold it.
Dont think anyone even noticed it though,which shows what a great promotional idea it was.

Update- McDreamy day was held as the winner was posted two days later.
But I still stand by that earlier post,as no announcements were made or contest on the field for it.
Likely it was worked and just given to whatever guy walked along.
